Flying Swords by warhammer2000 Flying Swords by warhammer2000
Leaping upon her enemy to finish them off. Not really happy with the leg on the right, need to do something to make the knee look slightly bent. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

I'll have to re-visit soon and maybe add color and...a victim!

Going to try something with this image too. I've made the full size image downloadable so if anyone out there wants to add to the image or color it, feel free to do it! All I ask is that you link to me when you post it. fair enuff?

Nicely done Bro, top inkwork. I think the leg is fine, looks like she's trying to lunge or leap, or has already done so. If anything, all it needs it a little shadow work on the shin & knee area, other than that, she's cool bro!

Thanks man, that's what I was thinking. I get stuck when trying to figure out how to shadow the leg from the knee down when it's in that position.

I believe it gives more emphasis on the characters movement/actions. I'm still getting used to that, especially with creases & folds in fabric.:pc:

Really nice with that "Conan" type of pose and a bit of John Buscema style. Well done!

Thanks! Buscema was one of my favorite artists in the SSOC series!

I remember seeing a lot of Kirby's work on The Mighty Thor and the Fantastic Four as a kid. I know he did a lot more, but those were the big ones I was into.

Yeah those were a few he not only drew but also developed with Stan Lee way back in the day. :)
